In this half-day interactive workshop, educators explore how their behaviors and interactions influence student engagement and success. Through guided self-reflection and discovery, participants learn to make meaningful connections, strengthen their communication practices, and harness the power of collaboration to create inclusive, engaging classroom environments.  The EQed Classroom is a key component of The EQed Culture™ Framework, helping educators apply emotional intelligence to instructional practice. 

 Drawing on Dr. Phyllis Donatto’s book The EQed Classroom: Leveraging Self-Awareness to Create Engaging Environments, this interactive workshop uses frameworks like the C³ Key Principles™ (Connection, Communication, Collaboration) and the SEE ME Framework™ to show how emotional intelligence enables teachers to build relationships, minimize disruptions, and create engaging learning environments. Grounded in trauma-informed practice and strategies aligned with PBIS, MTSS, and SEL, educators leave ready to foster emotionally intelligent classrooms that support connection and success.  This workshop is grounded in The EQed Culture™ Framework.

  The EQed Peer Mediation Workshop equips students with the skills and tools to help resolve conflicts among peers, develop leadership skills, and become trusted mediators in their schools. Grounded in the principles of emotional intelligence, this interactive experience empowers students to connect, communicate, and collaborate as they learn how to navigate and support others through conflict.
