 Drawing on Dr. Phyllis Donatto’s book The EQed Classroom: Leveraging Self-Awareness to Create Engaging Environments, this interactive workshop uses frameworks like the C³ Key Principles™ (Connection, Communication, Collaboration) and the SEE ME Framework™ to show how emotional intelligence enables teachers to build relationships, minimize disruptions, and create engaging learning environments. Grounded in trauma-informed practice and strategies aligned with PBIS, MTSS, and SEL, educators leave ready to foster emotionally intelligent classrooms that support connection and success. 

  The EQed Peer Mediation Workshop equips students with the skills and tools to help resolve conflicts among peers, develop leadership skills, and become trusted mediators in their schools. Grounded in the principles of emotional intelligence, this interactive experience empowers students to connect, communicate, and collaborate as they learn how to navigate and support others through conflict.  

  Parents are teachers too! The EQed Parent Workshop helps parents and caregivers recognize their pivotal role in their child's learning and well‑being.  Participants explore the five SEL competencies: self‑awareness, self‑management, social awareness, relationship skills, and responsible decision‑making, and learn practical strategies to support their child’s social‑emotional growth and strengthen the school‑home partnership.
